About the café
The café has evolved over time to become an welcoming social event with mix of coffee and chat, plus occasional drop-in talks on matters of (technology) general interest.
Café opening times
The computer café runs in the Parish Room in Slinfold Village Hall, from 10am to noon every Friday (unless otherwise stated). Everyone is welcome, there is no ‘membership’ and no age or expertise limits – all that we ask is a modest contribution of £2 towards the cost of room hire and refreshments.
Experts and self-help
Help on computer matters is always available from café regulars, who are happy to share their knowledge (usually learnt, tried and tested at the School of Hard Knocks!) We have a few regulars who have enhanced expertise in many aspects of computing, just in case your question is a real humdinger!
We are always keen to welcome new friends, especially if you can lend a hand helping others...
